Wa Wa Floor lamp

The Wa Wa is a tall floor lamp with four brass arms that angle out from a slender steel spine, each one holding a frosted glass shade that softens the light into warm overlapping pools. The base is a small dark metal rectangle that keeps the whole thing stable without taking up much floor space. The light it throws is gentle and layered—useful for reading or just filling a corner without feeling harsh. It’s the kind of lamp that works best in a room where you want light to feel present but not intrusive.

Common Questions
How stable is this lamp on the base?
The dark metal base is compact but solid. It sits flat without tipping in normal use. Don’t place it where it’ll be bumped, and avoid putting weight on the arms—they’re meant to pivot freely, not to bear pressure.
Can I adjust the angle of the glass arms?
Yes. Each brass arm rotates and angles out from the spine, so you can aim the light where you need it or tilt the shades to change how the light spreads. The arms stay put once positioned.
What’s the cord length, and where does it come out?
The cord runs down inside the spine and exits at the base. See the Specifications for exact cord length. Most installations put the lamp a few feet from an outlet, but you can use an extension cord if needed.
Is this lamp heavy? Will it move around on my hardwood floor?
It’s moderately weighted—not feather-light, but not unwieldy either. The base has enough mass to stay put on hardwood without sliding, though a felt pad under each corner of the base prevents any marking.
How do I clean the frosted glass shades?
Frosted glass shows dust more easily than clear. Dust it with a soft dry cloth or use a slightly damp microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners—warm water and a little mild soap, then dry right away. Don’t soak.
