Shift Floor Lamp

Four thin metal legs splay out from a crossing point near the base, leaning inward as they climb. Two cylindrical shades — one black, one white — mount on adjustable arms that swing and pivot independently, so you can aim light where you need it. The legs are dark bronze or natural metal depending on the finish; the shades catch and redirect the glow tight and close. It’s the kind of lamp that doesn’t fade into the room — you see it working.

Common Questions
Are the shades and arms really adjustable?
Yes. Each shade mounts on an arm that swivels and pivots — you rotate them to angle light where you’re reading or working, or swing them out of the way. The arms stay put once positioned.
How stable is it with those thin splayed legs?
The four legs spread wide at the base for a solid footprint, roughly 24″ across. The weight and geometry keep it steady on level ground. Don’t lean hard on the shade arms, but normal use is stable.
Can I use this in a smaller room or does it need a lot of space?
The base takes up a 24″ circle of floor. It fits a bedroom corner or a narrow office nook, but check that the swinging arms won’t bump furniture or people walking past when they’re extended.
What’s the cord length and where’s the switch?
See the Specifications for exact cord length. The switch is typically on one of the shade bodies or the cord itself — check the product page for the location on your finish.
Do the black and white shades have different purposes, or can I swap them?
Both shades work as working light; one being black and one white is the design. The black one has a warmer, more focused beam, while the white reflects more ambient light. You position them based on where you need task light strongest.
