Tove Pleated Floor Lamp
Tove Pleated Floor Lamp
A thin dark arc pulls up from a small round base and bends over to hold a pleated cream shade—the kind of arc that catches light without demanding it. The shade itself is paper-thin and deeply folded, so it reads almost translucent when the bulb’s on. It’s the sort of lamp that works in a corner, beside a sofa, or next to a reading chair, because the arc reaches over without taking up floor space the way a straight pole would.

Common Questions
How stable is this lamp with such a long arc?
The base is about 11″ across and weighted to handle the reach. It won’t tip under normal use, but it does need solid floor space—not a plush rug where the base can sink.
What kind of bulb does it take, and how bright does it get?
See the Specifications for bulb details. The pleated shade diffuses the light fairly soft, so it’s good for ambient or task lighting beside a chair, but not for washing a whole room.
Can I adjust the shade or the arc angle?
The arc is fixed once assembled—it’s not adjustable. The shade sits in a fixed position under the arc, so you’re not tilting or rotating it to redirect light.
Is the cord long enough to reach from a corner outlet?
The cord is approximately 120″ (about 3 meters). If your nearest outlet is farther, you’ll need an extension cord rated for the lamp’s wattage.
How do I clean the pleated shade without damaging it?
Use a soft dry brush or vacuum with a brush attachment on low speed. The pleats trap dust, so gentle is the key. Don’t wash it or use liquids—the paper will wrinkle or tear.
