Odin Floor Lamp
Odin Floor LampThe Odin floor lamp is turned wood from base to shade — a burgundy-stained column of stacked spheres and spindles that rises on a broad square foot. The dome shade tilts slightly forward, warm brass inside, which softens the light and angles it down into a chair or reading corner. It's a piece that looks carved by hand, even though the symmetry is precise. About 63″ tall, it pairs naturally with older furniture or a room that already has some weight and wood. Documentation SpecificationsInstallation Guide3D Files Common Questions How tall is the Odin, and will it fit my ceiling height? It's 63″ (160 cm) tall. For standard 8-foot ceilings, it leaves about 33″ of clearance above the shade. If your ceiling is 9 feet or higher, it sits comfortably. Measure your space before ordering. Can I adjust the shade angle, or is it fixed? The shade tilts slightly but isn't fully adjustable. It's designed to angle light down into a seated area. If you need a fully articulating head, this lamp isn't the right fit. What's the base like—is it stable on hard floors? The base is a 9″ × 9″ square foot in wood, weighted and solid. It's stable on hard floors. On thick carpet, you may want a protective mat underneath to keep it from settling. Is the wood finished to resist dust and marks? It's stained and sealed with a standard protective finish. Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water or harsh cleaners. The finish will patina gently with time, which adds character. Does the cord have a foot switch or in-line dimmer?See the Specifications for switch details. The lamp works with standard bulbs; check the product specs for the bulb type and wattage compatibility.
