Each cylinder sits in a metal ring collar, so they're held in place but designed to move slightly — that's the point. On a level floor it won't tip. The weight is in the base and lower cylinders, so the center of gravity stays low. What kind of bulb does it use and where do I install it?See the Specifications for bulb type and wattage. The socket is at the top under the frosted dome, accessed from above. Installation is straightforward and doesn't require tools. Does the frosted dome unscrew or is it fixed?The dome is removable for cleaning or bulb changes. It threads onto the top of the upper cylinder assembly. Hand-tight is all it needs. How much floor space does it need and will it fit in a corner?The base is 14″ across, so it fits easily into a corner. The whole lamp is linear and slim — it reads as a vertical line, not a sprawl. Works well 2–3 feet from a wall or as a room divider in an open layout. Can I clean the inside of the glass cylinders?Yes. If dust collects inside, you can carefully remove the top dome, then lift the cylinders up and out of their rings one at a time. Wipe with a soft dry cloth or use compressed air. The cylinders are sturdy enough for gentle handling.
