Glass Petals Floor Lamp

Five smoke-gray glass petals float up a slim black stem, each one cupped at a slight angle so the light pools inward and warm. The base is weighted dark metal, and the whole thing reaches about 5 feet tall but barely takes up floor space — it’s the kind of fixture that looks like it’s floating in the corner. The glass catches the light without trying, and the brass sockets inside each petal show just enough to feel intentional. It works well in a bedroom or living room where you want light that doesn’t shout.

Common Questions
How stable is this lamp on hardwood and tile floors?
The base is 9″ wide and weighted, so it stands solid on level floors without tipping. On a throw rug it can shift a bit — you might want to place it against a wall or in a corner for safety. Hardwood and tile both work fine.
Can you adjust where the petals point, or are they fixed?
The petals are fixed to the stem at staggered angles — they don’t rotate or move. The angle is set to pool the light inward toward the floor and around the lamp itself, not straight out into the room.
Does it need assembly beyond screwing the base on?
The stem and petals arrive assembled; you attach the weighted base, plug it in, and add a bulb to each socket. Takes about 10 minutes. See the Specifications for bulb details.
What kind of light does it actually give — is it bright enough to read by?
The five petals together give a soft, pooled glow downward and around. It’s good for ambient light and mood in a bedroom or corner. For focused reading light at a desk, you’d want something with more direct aim. The smoke glass does warm up the light nicely.
Does dust collect on the glass petals and how do you clean them?
Yes, smoke glass shows dust more than clear. A dry microfiber cloth works well, or gentle wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry it right after. Avoid sprays — they can pool at the rim where the socket meets the glass.
