Citta Floor Lamp

Two walnut discs face each other on a slim brass rod, each one centered with a brass dome that holds the bulb. The whole thing rises from a concrete base—about five feet tall—and the wood glows warm when the lights are on. It’s minimal and honest: wood, metal, concrete, and that’s it. The scale works in a bedroom corner or beside a sofa, where the two circles of light feel more like punctuation than overhead glare.

Common Questions
How stable is it, and will the concrete base scratch my floor?
The concrete base is solid and about 4″ across—it’s weighted and won’t tip. We’d recommend felt pads on the bottom if you’re on a finished floor; they protect both the lamp and the wood.
Can I use it as a reading light, or is it just ambient?
Both bulbs aim downward through those brass domes, so you get focused, warm light. It works well as a reading lamp if you’re sitting within 3 or 4 feet. See the Specifications for bulb details and wattage.
Do the two lights have separate switches, or one switch for both?
One switch controls both bulbs together. The cord runs up through the brass rod to a single on/off at the top.
How long is the cord, and where does it exit?
The cord runs up inside the rod and exits at the top, near the upper fixture. Standard cord length is about 8 feet. Check the spec sheet to confirm, and plan for an outlet or extension within reach of where you’ll place it.
Will this fit in a corner between a bed and nightstand, or does it need floor space?
At 60″ tall and 4″ wide at the base, it’s slim enough for a tight corner—perfect beside a bed or sofa arm. Just make sure you have vertical clearance (a standard 8′ ceiling is fine) and the bulbs won’t be blocked by furniture or curtains.
